II. Team Sponsorship policy
A team can be sponsored and be identified during the Air Rally under the name of the sponsor ie. Rolls Royce team, Pratt & Whitney team, Bombardier team, etc…. The team will wear the IAR T-shirts at all times during the competition. Team can wear sponsors outfit during reception diners offered by our hosts and carry promotional material. To encourage sponsors, this year exceptionally IAR has reduced sponsors registration fee to $500. This fee will be charged to the sponsors directly as advertising right.
Attention Smart pilots!
During past Air rallies 75% of our participants received help in different ways. The winners were in this 75% lot! If you want to be a «smart pilot» read this carefully!
Our past Air Rallies have taught us how “smart pilots” can reduce the Air Rally participation costs to, sometimes $0. We are very happy to share some of these interesting strategies with you:
Here are some potential sponsors, ways and reasons why you should get support.
Suppliers: a good supplier will invest in good clients in order to keep its customers and show others how much they care, particularly if their business is aviation related. However, in 2003, restaurants, hotel chains, food suppliers, insurance brokers, investment brokers, Mutual funds, transport companies, etc. supported our participants, from $500 up to $5,000.00!
Major Corporations: could support employees or business associates especially members of the corporation’s “Flying Club” ie: Hydro Quebec, Bombardier, Rolls-Royce, Pratt & Whitney, etc.
Entrepreneurs: will use the Air Rally to advertise across Ontario, Quebec and other visited provinces, during these 8 days and claim business development expenses. The IAR is known to be a good opportunity to build solid relationships which sometimes develop in a lasting business relationship. Eight days of camaraderie and friendly exchange atmosphere do build ties between people sharing the same passion.
Student Pilot: a student can register with his or her instructor in order to accumulate hours and improve flying skills while having a lot of fun! Flying schools will workout a better deal for the student as they will benefit from the IAR important media coverage (National and International). The instructor will also reduce and in some cases wave the instruction fees. Both, school/instructor as well as student stand a chance to win, honouring the flying school and the instructor.
Plane owners: International Air Rally has put together a plan that will reduce their aircraft maintenance cost if aircraft is used during the Air Rally.

Logos
Sponsors logos will be apposed on both sides of the aircraft. The logos will be self-adhesive easy to apply and easy to remove without any damage to the aircraft paint. |
