All for one and one for all: The Air Rally
is an event, a group flying adventure and a unique
group flying experience during which camaraderie spirit,
mutual assistance and team support play a major role.
Each year since 2001, this event gathers teams from different
countries. The success of the Rally relies on the team spirit
and team’s awareness of the character of this adventure
and the acknowledgement of the efforts and hard work put into
the organisation of the largest ever group flying event
organized in Canada.
There is NO OTHER Flying event of such kind that requires
the intervention of such important number of volunteers:
The volunteers involved insure the well being and safety of the pilots.
They include : The IAR Organizing Committee, Nav Canada,
Transport Canada, YOUR HOSTS : organizing committee of each
and every visited destination including dignitaries, members
of Provincial governments, Mayors and city council in
addition to the representatives of each airport and fuel
suppliers as well as partners (corporations & others)
who make this event possible.
As a demonstration of respect for the people involved in this ambitious undertaking
and especially the destinations receiving YOU, each participant registered
in the International Air Rally, is committing to follow the itinerary, following the program
established by the Organizing Committee from the beginning to end (subject to weather conditions).
Should any team decide to divert from the intended route for any other reason than mechanical,
weather or health problem,
the team will no longer be considered as part of the group.
