Terms & Conditions
Please read the following before registering for an International Air Rally.
Registration & group size.
*Departure date: the date of the flight to the first destination of the Air Rally.
What's refundable, and when.
- Refund of 50% of paid participation fees 46 to 60 days before departure date
- No refund of paid participation fees 45 days or less from departure date
- No refund on aircraft registration fee
Participation fee is transferable: a participant who wishes to cancel can transfer the registration to another participant who has not already submitted a registration form. Participation fees paid will be refunded upon receipt of full payment from the replacement team. Aircraft fees are not transferable.
If plans change beyond our control.
Should the International Air Rally Team be forced to cancel the event due to factors beyond their control, and postponing is not possible, they will refund the participants according to refunds obtained by accommodations and service providers who received full payment.
During the Rally, should a diversion to another destination due to bad weather or safety reasons occur, relocation, transportation, and other costs associated with this change will be the participant's responsibility. No refund for previous arrangements.
International Air Rally is not responsible for teams affected by delays, changes of itinerary, or diversions. Participants must follow the program and schedule established by the International Air Rally Organizing Committee unless security dictates otherwise. Bad weather may cause flight delays or require waiting for a window to fly to the next destination.
Teamwork and solidarity.
Teamwork will determine when it is best to fly, but the captain always makes his/her decision at the end. For over 20 years, Rally participants have enjoyed amazing and safe flying experiences with Rally teammates working together to ensure safe flying for all aircraft, from the slowest to the fastest.
The Air Rally is a unique group flying experience — camaraderie, mutual assistance, and team support. Scout strategy (sending faster aircraft ahead to relay weather conditions) has always proven the best way to keep everyone safe and together.
Participants diverting from the intended route for reasons other than safety, mechanical issues, or health will be excluded from the group and their participation will be terminated with no refund.
What we ask of every participant.
Air Rally participants understand that much effort has been invested in setting a program and itinerary in consideration of support, safety, and arrangements made by hosting destinations, and they are expected to follow the program and itinerary proposed. International Air Rally cannot provide attendance or support to participants who choose to divert for reasons other than mechanical problems or weather.
Every participant signing up (registration) has read and understands the Terms and Conditions above.
